Welcome to The Empowered Path
At The Empowered Path, I believe every person has the capacity for healing, growth, and lasting change. My goal is to provide a compassionate, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to move forward at your own pace. My approach is humanistic, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, built on authenticity, collaboration, and the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing.
My passion for social work began while teaching in an inner-city school, where I witnessed the impact of trauma, relationships, and community support. As the wife of a United States Air Force veteran, I've lived in seven states over the past 20 years, giving me the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. As the mother of four children, including one through adoption, I also bring personal insight into adoption, attachment, parenting, and life's unexpected transitions.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2022 and am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). My experience includes private practice, community mental health, and CASA, working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
I specialize in pregnancy and postpartum mental health, anxiety, depression, trauma, adoption and attachment, women's mental health, parenting support, stress management, and life transitions. Whether you're facing a difficult season or simply looking for support, I'm here to help you build on your strengths, find hope, and create meaningful, lasting change.
It would be a privilege to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and wellness.
